Disenchanted | Official Trailer | Disney+

“Animation Movie” trailer

The magical teaser trailer for the all-new live-action musical comedy “Disenchanted,” which premiered at the D23 Expo 2022 in the Anaheim Convention Center moments ago, is here! The eagerly-anticipated sequel to “Enchanted,” which reunites original cast members Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel, and James Marsden and also stars Maya Rudolph, Gabriella Baldacchino, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jayma Mays, is directed by Adam Shankman and features new songs from Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. “Disenchanted” begins streaming November 24, exclusively on Disney+…just in time to brighten up the holiday season.

It has been 15 years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

“Disenchanted stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Gabriella Baldacchino, with Idina Menzel and James Marsden. Directed by Adam Shankman from a screenplay by Brigitte Hales and a story by J. David Stem & David N. Weiss and Richard LaGravenese, “Disenchanted” is produced by Barry Josephson, Barry Sonnenfeld, and Amy Adams, with Jo Burn, Sunil Perkash, and Adam Shankman serving as executive producers. The movie features songs with music by 8-time Oscar®-winning composer Alan Menken and lyrics by three-time Oscar-winning lyricist Stephen Schwartz, whose work on “Enchanted” garnered three Academy Award® nominations and a score by Alan Menken.

Disney’s “Disenchanted” begins streaming November 24, 2022, only on Disney+.

I really liked this movie! It was fun to watch. The songs were a little too much , but I didn't mind. I liked the concept of turning a princess into a villain and the use of wishes and their side effects according to how big that wish is.Though I don't get how Gisele after so many years in New York still had that princessy finesse or how her husband could stand it for so long after the excitement period in their relationship ( I would find her annoying) BUT it seems like she was trying too hard to keep it and that's why we got the movie's plot. It was pretty, it was fun, it was exactly what the trailer showed. Amy Adams makes a great villain , all the cast seemed to be having fun with their roles. 8/10 for me. I don't get the hate. Yes… It has its ups and downs but at the end of the day it fulfills the role of being entertaining.

I just watched it, and it was really cute and not bad but I still think the original Enchanted is better. I grew up with Enchanted and I’ve seen it so much as a kid, so it means a lot to me and I was very excited for this one. I liked this one and it made me cry and brought back memories. It wasn’t as good as the first but it was still good. Beautiful magical emotional movie. And I love Amy Adams so much. She’s so so pretty and talented

    Woke.

  39. Carina Johnson says

Kinda feel like the movie was a bit too late. I mean…. You got a couple far beyond childbearing years with a new baby, different daughter because the original is too old although she did a pretty good job. It was just bad timing and the Queen or head school lady walking around with the other two ladies at her side like dogs is more teenage style then adult. Honestly, I didn't expect much so I wasn't disappointed but definitely not something I can ever sit through again

  40. Deepak Karira says

    Amy Adams ❤❤

  41. Jerricson Sumague says

    Saw it yesterday. Disappointing.

  42. Nykia Smith says

I couldn’t help but think I wondered if they woke up and we’re all like why can’t I stop singing lol or they just didn’t feel a difference 😂

  43. Mirabel Lebarim says

Two evil lady’s that at the end they both changed plus it reminded me of when people say “OH LIFE AINT A FAIRY TALE “ but then again in fairytales movies there is the good bad and ugly so basically what we are missing is everyone singing and dancing every day at every turn lol …

  44. Vertilingo says

Way to kill the magic! Songs all sounded the same
